During a brief escape to Vermont for a couple days, my father and I took off around 7am from the Dorset Inn and made our way to Equinox Pond in Manchester, VT, just a short, but steep, hike off Equinox Pond Road. The light wasn’t all that good for the hour or so we were there but for a short while the clouds broke and showered this mountain in sunlight. The water was still as glass and crystal clear, as you can see. It was a nice morning of peace and quiet with no one but my dad. This picture captures what I remember of it, minus the 34 degree morning air.
