Two of my all time favorite bands joined forces to tour as NIN/JA: Nine Inch Nails and Jane’s Addiction. Myself, my wife Ali, my friend Brian Viglione, and new friend Holly Brewster all went to the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA to catch this once in a lifetime show. Three days later, I’m still in awe of what I witnessed that evening.

One of the coolest things about this tour is the policies that they created for fans. Being that NIN has a very strong presence online, both at NIN.com but also with their iPhone app, they actually encourage fans to take pictures, record video, capture audio, and therefore they had a very loose policy around these things. In fact, the camera policy clearly stated that all cameras with lenses and bodies totalling “less than twenty inches in length” would be permitted. So, I brought my 40D and my 70-200mm f/2.8 along, as well as my Flip HD.

This was by no means a “professional shoot.” I was merely a spectator two sections away from the stage. But I managed to take some pretty great shots nonetheless! Here are the pics for your enjoyment, and video below them.
